The German holiday airline will end the wet lease cooperation with the Smartlynx Group in the long-haul segment. The capacities are to be leased from Air Belgium and Wamos Air in the future, but in the medium term they no longer want to be dependent on ACMI partners.
As initially reported by the industry portal FVW, Condor is said to have decided to end the cooperation due to numerous passenger complaints and relevant media reports about the quality of the long-haul flights operated by Smartlynx. Everything looked very different just a few weeks ago, because at that time the cooperation was even expanded.
