Shortly before the end of 2022, the airline Star Air secured two more Embraer E175 regional jets. These are purchased through the leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital.
It was already announced in the first half of 2022 that the Indian carrier had decided to lease two aircraft of this type. These will also be easted by NAC. Five Embraer 145s are currently in operation. These have a lower seating capacity than the announced newcomers.
These are not new builds, but used aircraft. For example, the first E175 that will join Star Air will die today’s OY-YEF. This machine was formerly used by Belavia.
