Emirates has resumed operations to Adelaide, Australia and is now offering service to and from Dubai.
The connection, with a Boeing 777-200LR capable of carrying 302 passengers, provides over 4,200 seats per week and significantly supports South Australia’s economy and tourism. The South Australian Tourism Commission expects this to result in an additional $62 million in tourism spending annually and over 300 new jobs. In addition, up to 196 tonnes of cargo can now be transported per week, including high-value exports such as seafood, meat products, fruit and vegetables.
In addition to Australian connections, Emirates has signed MoUs with Vietnam Airlines and VietJet to optimize travel connectivity between Dubai and Vietnam. Emirates customers will therefore have improved connections to numerous national and regional Vietnamese travel destinations. The cooperation also strengthens Vietnamese passengers’ access to the global Emirates network.
