There are currently two hotels at Vienna-Schwechat Airport. A third accommodation facility is to be built from autumn 2023. The future “Vienna House Easy” by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is scheduled to open in spring 2025.
The « Vienna House Easy » will be the largest hotel at Vienna Airport and one of the five largest hotels in Austria. The concept combines budget with lifestyle and offers an attractive price-performance ratio. The hotel is being built on the B9 in the direction of Schwechat, right next to the VIP & General Aviation Terminal at Vienna Airport. Construction will begin in fall 2023 and opening is planned for spring 2025.
The new airport hotel is being built by the Viennese MAMMA Group. They invested in commercial space, residential complexes and, in recent years, increasingly in hotels. MAMMA Group is currently realizing seven hotel projects in Austria and Germany.
All Vienna House Hotels are operated by the Berlin HR Group, one of the leading multi-brand hotel operating companies in Central Europe, as part of a franchise agreement. The Berlin company has been acquiring and operating successful hotels for more than ten years. With more than 145 hotels in over 100 locations in ten countries, including numerous projects signed and under construction, and a total of 15,000 rooms, HR Group continues to strive for expansion. Both partners plan to jointly expand this Vienna House network to more than 100 locations within the next two years.
